REDI-EXIT® Economy Series Window Well Egress Ladders
The IRC code requires any egress window wells that are 44" deep or greater to have either a ladder or steps to allow for easy exit in an emergency. All of our Polyethylene or Fiberglass egress window wells have molded in ladders or steps. Our garden step egress window wells use the tiered landings as steps.
A separate ladder is needed for the REDI-EXIT® Economy Series Window Wells and REDI-EXIT Compact Economy Series Window Wells, 48" high or higher to meet the IRC Code.
The REDI-EXIT® Economy Series Basement Window Well Egress Ladders are made of high grade steel that has a white powder coated finish.
The Ladder comes in 3-rung, 4-rung, and 5-rung lengths to fit 48, 60 and 72" high Economy Series Egress Wells, respectively. Each rung is 12" step-to-step, and projects 4".
Each Egress Ladder hooks on the top of the egress well and is permanently fastened to the well through pre-drilled screw holes.
These Ladders fit other Manufacture's Galvanized Steel Window Wells.
