These Alarms have been approved by Underwriters Laboratories (UL-US) and meets the Americans with disabilities act (ADA) requirements for visual signaling devices for the hearing impaired.
Universal 120 Volt AC Smoke Alarms for the Hearing Impaired
The Universal 120 Volt AC Hardwired Smoke Alarm Kit for the Hearing Impaired comes with one 120 Volt AC Ionization Smoke Alarm, one 120 Volt AC Strobe Light and one Relay.
The 120 Volt AC Ionization Smoke Alarm in the hearing impaired smoke alarm kit is equipped with a loud 85 dB horn; an alarm test button; a green LED indicator light for AC power; a red LED light that flashes when the alarm sounds; and a large mounting plate.
The 120 Volt AC Strobe Light in the hearing impaired smoke alarm kit has a 177 candela strobe light.
It also comes with a wire harness for fast and easy installation.
This Hearing Impaired Alarm has been approved and comply with the following regulatory agencies: Underwriters Laboratories (UL-US); Underwriters Laboratories Canada (ULC); National Fire Protection Association (NFPA); Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and the Federal Housing Authority (FHA).

Wireless Smoke Alarms for the Hearing Impaired
The Wireless Smoke Alarm Kit for a General Living Area comes with one Smoke Alarm Transmitter and one table top Smoke Alarm Monitor-Receiver.
The Smoke Alarm Transmitter is battery powered and attaches to an existing hard wired or battery operated smoke alarm. The Smoke Alarm Transmitter senses when the existing smoke alarm goes off and sends a wireless signal up to 100 feet to the table top Smoke Alarm Monitor-Receiver.
The table top Smoke Alarm Monitor-Receiver plugs into a standard wall outlet and has a 170 candela strobe light and an adjustable 95 dB horn, it also has a backup rechargeable battery.
The Wireless Smoke Alarm Kit for a Bedroom Area comes with one Smoke Alarm Transmitter and one table top Smoke Alarm Monitor-Receiver and a bed shaker that plugs into the table top Smoke Alarm Monitor-Receiver.
