The REDI-EXIT Fire Escape System is an easy, attractive way for home owners, builders, contractors, landlords and those in the remodeling business to add a fire escape ladder to any house, condominium, townhouse, beach home, bed & breakfast, and rental property.

The REDI-EXIT Fire Escape Ladder is a permanently mounted escape system that mounts outside a bedroom window, looking very similar to a downspout in its normally closed position. Just press the red release knob to open the REDI-EXIT Fire Escape Ladder in seconds during an emergency. It requires no heavy lifting to deploy and the ladder rungs are spaced 11" apart, making it easy for children and the elderly to use.

The unique latching system only allows the fire escape ladder to be opened from outside your bedroom window, there is no way for a person to open it from the ground.

The ladder holds 800 pounds and can support multiple people on it at the same time. It is designed to be mounted on either side of your window. This is a very stable ladder system that is easy to use.

The REDI-EXIT Escape System is designed to fit most almost any height window up to 32 foot high. It comes it two standard stock sizes, a 2-story size that has a 17'- 41/2" mounting height and a 3-story size that has a 25'- 71/2" mounting height. An optional 33" extension is available. Ladders can be cut down in 11" increments.

There is an optional pull cord opening system that allows a 3-story ladder to be opened from a second story window that is located directly below the third story window, letting the same ladder be used to escape from both windows.

The escape system includes mounting brackets that holds the REDI-EXIT Fire Escape Ladder off a building's surface by 6", custom brackets can be manufactured to meet most other mounting requirements.

The REDI-EXIT Fire Escape System is supplied in modular form, comes with complete step by step installation instructions, and can be easily installed in 3-4 hours using simple tools.

Adults, and Children ages 6+, will feel very confident using this stable fire escape ladder during an emergency. Younger children should be accompanied by an adult.
