REDI_EXIT ® Commercial Wood and Steel Fire Door and Exterior Door Kits

Overview

Exterior Double Door, Butt Mounted Masonry Framed with Light Each REDI-EXIT® Commercial Wood and Steel Exterior Door Kit comes with a commercial grade Steel Door and Frame, three Hinges, Keyed Lever Handle Lock Set or a Keyed Panic Bar Exit Device, Door Closer, a Threshold, and a Door Sweep.

REDI-EXIT® Commercial Wood and Steel Exterior Door Kits are ADA compliant and have a limited lifetime warranty on the Doors and Frames and a 2 year warranty on the Door Hardware.

The Wood and Steel Exterior Door Kits come with Steel Exterior Door Frames in either a Drywall Slip-on Mounting or Masonry Wall Butt Mounting style, and in four door swing styles, Right Hand Door Swing (RH), Left Hand Door Swing (LH), Right Hand Reversed Door Swing (RHR), or a Left Hand Reversed Door Swing (LHR).

If you need someone to install our door kits we also have a network of installers that can offer installation in many parts of the United States.

Doors

REDI-EXIT® Steel Exterior Door Kits are supplied with a commercial grade 1 ¾” thick pre-primed flush steel doors that have a honeycomb core.

REDI-EXIT® Birch Wood Exterior Door Kits are supplied with a commercial grade 1 ¾” thick Hollow Birch Wood Door in either a clear lacquer finish or un-finished with a 90 minute UL Fire Label for use with 2 hour fire rated walls. Other fire ratings are available.

REDI-EXIT® Commercial Wood and Steel Exterior Doors are available in 2’-6” (30”), 2’-8” (32”), 3’-0” (36”), 3-6” (42”), 3’-8” (44”), 4”-0” (48”) widths and 6’-8” (80”), 7’-0 (84”), 7’-6” (90”), 8’-0” (96”) heights. Custom widths and heights are our specialty.

Exterior Doors come pre-cut for Lock and Hinge installation.

Note: Exterior Door Kits must be selected with the correct Door Swing to assure proper door set-up for these features.

Frames

Fire Door Frame REDI-EXIT® Wood and Steel Exterior Door Kits are supplied with a commercial pre-primed knock down field assembled Steel Exterior Door Frame with rigid interlocked joints to maintain frame alignment.

REDI-EXIT® Steel Exterior Door Frames come pre-cut for Lock Plate and Hinge installation. NOTE:Wood and Steel Exterior Door Kits must be selected with the correct Door Swing to assure proper Exterior Door Frame set-up for these features. Our Frames come with Door Silencers.

Steel Exterior Door Frames come in either a Masonry Butt Mounting style, that is 5 ¾” thick or a Drywall Slip-on Mounting style, that is designed to fit a 4 5/8” + or – 1/16” thick wall. NOTE: Steel Exterior Door Kits must be selected with the correct mounting style to assure proper door installation.

The Masonry Jams have three pre-dimpled mounting holes and come with Masonry Anchors.

REDI-EXIT® Standard Series Steel Exterior Door Kits have 16 gauge (0.053” thick) Steel Frames.

Optional Frame Weather Strip is available.

Locking and Panic Exit Devices

Locking and Panic Exit Devices REDI-EXIT® Steel Exterior Door Kits are supplied with a commercial grade ADA compliant Key Lever Handle Lock Set or wrought steel, satin aluminum baked enamel finished, Rim Panic Bar Exit Device with a Keyed Lever Handled Exterior Locking Trim.

Hinges

Standard Weight Ball Bearing Mortise REDI-EXIT® Steel Fire Door Kits have three commercial grade, UL rated, 4 1/2” x 4 1/2”, USP prime coated finish, wrought steel, Standard Weight, Ball Bearing Mortise Hinges with non rising pin feature (NRP) that meet NFPA 80 Specifications for door widths up to 42’. Heavy Weight, Ball Bearing Mortise Hinges are used for doors 44” or wider. These hinges conform to standard USA templates.

Door Closer

Door Closer ADA Compliant REDI-EXIT® Wood and Steel Exterior Door Kits come with an ADA Compliant commercial grade low profile Door Closer, Cover and Mounting Screws.

The Door Closer has adjustments for closing speed, closing power, and opening door cushioning (back check).

The Door Closer can be installed in one of three ways; Regular Arm; Top Jam, or Parallel Arm configurations.

Door Threshold

Door Threshold ADA Compliant REDI-EXIT® Wood and Steel Exterior Door Kits are supplied with a commercial grade 36" ADA Compliant, Door Threshold. These Aluminum Thresholds are pre-drilled and are supplied with mounting Screws.

Door Sweep

REDI-EXIT® Wood and Steel Exterior Door Kits come with a commercial grade Aluminum Brush Style Door Sweep. The Door Sweeps are pre-drilled and come with Sheet Metal Mounting Screws
