Egress Window WellsThe current International Residential Building Code (IRC) requires that an egress well has a minimum of 9 square feet of surface area and project out 36 inches off the foundation wall. It also requires that an egress well deeper than 44 inches must have either a ladder or steps to allow for safe exit. Designer Egress Wells The one piece REDI-EXIT® Designer Series Basement Egress Wells are constructed of multi-layered Fiberglass mess and resin for maximum strength with an interior sandstone color surface finish that looks like natural brick stone.  Economy Egress Wells The one piece REDI-EXIT® Economy Series Basement Egress Wells are constructed of a heavy 18 Gauge Galvanized Steel that is painted white on the inside and tan on the outside over the galvanized finish. This is our most economical Egress System.  Compact Egress Wells REDI-EXIT® Compact Series Egress Well is just 9.1 square feet in size, making it the smallest egress window well available in the market today that meets the IRC Code requirement of 9.0 square feet of surface area. This well is typically used when space to install an egress well is limited. Compact Economy Egress Wells The one piece REDI-EXIT® Compact Economy Series Basement Egress Wells are constructed of Galvanized Steel that is painted white on the inside and tan on the outside over the galvanized finish. This is our most economical Compact Egress System. This well is the smallest well that meets the IRC Code and is used when installation space is a problem. Simply stack the modules to accommodate a wide variety of well heights from 21” to 77”.  Wellcraft 2060 Egress Well The Wellcraft® 2060 Egress Well is constructed of UV-Stabilized gray color polyethylene plastic. This 60” high Egress Well comes with a molded in set of steps.
